ECTI DAMT & NCON 2026

The 11th International Conference on Digital Arts, Media and Technology (DAMT) and the 9th ECTI Northern Section Conference on Electrical, Electronics, Computer and Telecommunications Engineering (NCON) were jointly held in Chiang Mai, Thailand from 4th to 7th February 2026. Organized by the Electrical Engineering/Electronics, Computer, Telecommunications and Information Technology Association of Thailand (ECTI Thailand) in collaboration with leading industries and academic institutions in Northern Thailand, the event brought together researchers and professionals from around the world to exchange ideas and discuss emerging developments in digital technologies.

Our colleague, Rumen Doynov, presented his paper titled “Recall-First Temporal Routing for Low-Base-Rate IDS: Debuggable Unified Preprocessing and Low-Base FPR Evaluation Protocol.” His work addresses key challenges in intrusion detection systems operating under low base-rate conditions, with a strong focus on interpretability and robust evaluation protocols. The presentation sparked valuable discussions around practical deployment, evaluation rigor, and the balance between recall and false positive rates in real-world cybersecurity environments.

This year’s edition placed special emphasis on Digital Health, highlighting how digital technologies are shaping innovation in healthcare and well-being. All accepted and presented papers will be published in the official conference proceedings, with selected high-quality contributions submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore (Conference Record Number: 67592).

Congratulations to Rumen for representing the team and contributing to such a dynamic and forward-looking international forum in Chiang Mai.
