The objectives focus on providing participants with practical and theoretical knowledge to infuse intelligence into future wireless networks using disruptive technologies, such as AI and ML, for enhanced connectivity and Quality of Experience (QoE). Additionally, participants will learn to comply with the trustworthiness requirements critical to future communication networks and their applications. Team Network Collaboration and Knowledge Transfer<\/h3>\n\t\t\t

Continuously develop and conduct training sessions for faculty and administrative staff focusing on attracting collaborative research funds, technical and administrative project management, and knowledge transfer. Following the principle of ‘learning by doing’, the project will create skills for collaborative proposal organization, writing, and successful submission. It will actively pursue new proposals and implement GREENBEAT technologies scouting to practice the learning outcomes of the training on Knowledge Transfer processes. Additionally, techniques, best practices, expertise, and equipment will be shared to establish experimental research labs, including a 6G network design lab on the premises of TUS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Several training modules will be conducted which will aim to cover the complete life cycle of a collaborative funded research project.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Partners will collaborate to submit research proposals by defining joint research agendas and collaboration strategies. Participants from widening countries will benefit from their participation in all phases of the process.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Technology Scouting Events<\/span><\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

In the beginning of the collaborative research work, participants will be motivated to combine their scientific and technological perspective with a market perspective. New ideas, approaches and technologies will be documented in Invention Disclosure Forms before being openly presented. Technology Scouting Events will be organized in order to discuss and evaluate the business potential of the new innovations and propose the best path for IP protection. These events will be help every 6 to 9 months.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Set-up of Experimental testbeds<\/span><\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

Exchange best practices and sharing of experience and expertise among GREENBEAT partners in order to properly set-up experimental testbeds. The main goal is to establish a 6G network design experimental test in the premises of TUS.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

Mobilize research, innovation, and technological capacity at TUS by providing training and equipping staff with skills to address the entire spectrum of technological innovation and unlock the value proposition of novel technologies. Additionally, establish a collaborative network involving researchers and local businesses, enabling strong partnerships. Facilitate networking channels with like-minded researchers and innovators within Bulgaria’s ICT and DTI community, as well as internationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Green Business Model Learning, Knowledge Transfer and Training<\/span><\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

This task focuses on training researchers to identify and leverage innovative technologies for sustainability through business model innovation design and experimentation. Experts from AU and HAEC will train at TUS and RDIC how to apply, use and implement green business model innovation techniques and tools. They will use Business model cube tools (Bee cubes) for teaching as TUS and RDIC have one each and it is envisioned that one more will be built for each.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Skills and Competencies in New Business Creation<\/span><\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

This task aims to equip researchers and innovators with technological and commercial skills in entrepreneurial contexts, offering three short lectures alongside hybrid mode options for wider participation. It also includes one-day competitions where TUS and RDIC researchers present ideas individually or in groups to a jury. The prize is an opportunity for real startup formation, facilitated by local innovation hubs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Technology Business Model Innovation (TBMI)<\/span><\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

Put the new knowledge into practice linking researches with companies that will give the researchers a problem that they will have to solve by means of innovative technology. The participants will be able to work solo or in groups and will have one month for developing a solution then it will be presented in front of the other participating teams and companies. Overall 3 TBMI challenges will be held during the course of the project.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Bootcamps<\/span><\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

This task will train researchers from TUS, RDIC, and other relevant EU-funded projects, to transform their ideas into open, sustainable, and deployable solutions through one-day co-creation bootcamps at Sofia Tech Park and RDIC. Participants will present their ideas, work with coaches to refine them, and network with EU-community members, SMEs, and startups. Then a jury will evaluate their ideas. It has been planned to have 3 digital innovation bootcamps.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n

It involves creating effective communication tools and channels, defining stakeholder groups benefiting from project activities, and planning dissemination efforts such as workshops, special sessions, website maintenance, open-access publications, e-newsletters, multimedia branding, and social media outreach. This strategy ensures sustained engagement post-project completion and reflects current societal and economic needs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Capacity and Community Building: capitalizing on and building synergies with current and previous projects<\/span><\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

Integrate the project into the overall EU Twinning projects landscape and interface on the topics of Advance State of the Art in the Area of Connecting Intelligence and Trustworthiness. In order to strengthen the impact of the project the dissemination opportunities, targeted audiences and key messages will updated regularly.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Data Management and Open Access<\/span><\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

The project will establish a data management plan (DMP) as a formal document detailing the handling of data throughout and after its completion. Aligned with the Open Research Data Pilot (ORDP) of the European Commission, the DMP facilitates open access and reuse of research data from Horizon projects. It ensures compliance with ORDP’s two pillars: outlining data handling during and after the project, and providing as much research data as possible for open access.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Exploitation<\/span><\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

This task aims to define key exploitable results (KERs) encompassing research innovations from Advance State of the Art in the Area of Connecting Intelligence and Trustworthiness, along with tools developed in Team Network Collaboration and Knowledge Transfer and Scientific and Entrepreneurial Collaboration for Competitive Innovation to foster engagement with scientific and business communities. Project Management<\/h3>\n\t\t\t

The project management covers the administrative, technical, and quality assurance management and overall coordination of the project. The main goal of the work package is to ensure the day-to-day smooth running of the project with the overall aim of a successful completion of the project goals on time, within the budget and having the expected impacts achieved. The tasks of the management deal with the general project management activities such as organization of meetings, reporting, facilitating communication and coordination processes and tools as well as the financial management of the project and providing interfaces to the EC through the Project Coordinator (PC). The PC will lead this managerial work with the support of the Technical Manager and the Project Management Team (PMT). Advance State of the Art in the Area of Connecting Intelligence and Trustworthiness work is carried out in close coordination with the project management team, and benefits from strong involvement of all partners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Administrative Project Management<\/span><\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

Oversee administrative project management, including monitoring, confirming, and adjusting task progress. This involves interfacing with the EC, cost and progress reporting, coordinating progress meetings, resolving conflicts, planning scientific outputs, and facilitating communication between stakeholders. Additionally, it manages legal, contractual, ethical, financial, and administrative aspects, coordinates knowledge and IPR management, and serves as the intermediary between the EC and the consortium. It will also ensure activities align with European policies and ethical requirements.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Technical
Management<\/span><\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

Ensure the project aligns with its agreed objectives outlined in the Description of Work (DoW) and remains relevant to the strategic goals of the Framework Program. It maintains the overall project plan, oversees the quality of project results, and coordinates the preparation and distribution of deliverables.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Quality and Impact
Management<\/span><\/h2><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n

This task aims to ensure the project achieves the highest level of quality by leveraging the expertise of the consortium. Quality checks will occur at defined checkpoints with the participation of all project members, taking into account stakeholders’ quality requirements. A risk management plan, capitalizing on the coordinator’s and beneficiaries’ experience, will be developed to mitigate both anticipated and unforeseen risks, including those related to the COVID-19 pandemic. The project implementation plan will include backup plans and alternative solutions for technological, scientific, managerial, and operational risks.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n
